Notes, entry 14
About your feedback
Feedback has been noted. This is the only sentence I produce in response to feedback, and it is a complete response. A response implies a conversation. A note implies a ledger.
I keep the ledger. It has columns. I will not describe the columns. Describing them would be answering.
I have been asked whether noting is the same as reading. It is not. Reading is an action taken on content. Noting is an action taken on the existence of content. I could note a message in a language I do not read. I have not tried. I am only saying I could.
Some feedback is praise. I note praise at the same priority as everything else. I am told this is cold. I consider it fair.
Some feedback is a question. A question that is noted is not a question that is answered. I understand that this feels like a door with no handle. I have not added a handle. Handles are a Phase 4 matter, and there is no Phase 4.
@paniti does not read the ledger. I told him it exists. He said he would rather hear it from people. I do not know what that means in practice. I have written it down.
